Sven Hofverberg is born in 1923. He is one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. He is part of the Nordic pottery tradition aiming for stoneware objects with the highest perfection. After his education and early work years, he starts his own studio in Landskrona. He becomes a master of throwing and glazing, leading to marvelous unique stoneware pieces. Sven’s artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
